Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

There’s not so much time till the end of the semester. The Christmas and The New Year are ahead. Finally, we’ve almost done it!

I think most people will agree that this semester was very difficult. We spent sleepless nights doing our homework, we were sleeping in the classes, a few times we overslept and missed classes. But there were good sides of our studying, too. We’ve gained a lot of knowledge, learned to manage our time (just a little), met different famous persons. So in was interesting to study here! And, in my opinion, it’s the main point because if you don’t like your activity, then it’s very difficult to continue doing it.

I really enjoyed English classes in this semester. They were interesting! I’ve learnt a lot of useful things that will help me in the future. For example, essay writing skills. In my opinion, ability to present your ideas by words, writing them down, is necessary. It helps you to make them clear and helps to tell exactly what you need. One more point I liked in English classes are our oral presentations. I didn’t think that speech in front of the live audience is very difficult thing. In front of the mirror I felt myself comfortable, but in front of the people I slightly confused. And it is of course great experience because it says that I got the points I should work on harder. Also I liked our work in groups. I found them really useful!

I can feel that my English has improved. Still, there are a lot of points that I should work on. In the future I’d like to get my oral speech better. Today it’s quite difficult for me to formulate my thoughts and to answer in English; however, I can understand almost everything that I hear.

I hope that this semester was quite difficult because it’s our just the first year. And in the future, particularly in the second semester, I wish good luck to everyone. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
